How we protect your files

Processing happens in your browser

When you pick a PDF to merge, your browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox) reads and assembles it with libraries that run on your computer or phone. The result is created right there and downloaded directly to you.

What we don't do

• We don't upload your files to servers.
• We don't keep copies, file names or content.
• We don't ask you to sign up for the free tools.

How to check

Open a tool, turn off your internet after the page loads and run it: it still works, because nothing needs to be sent. If you know web development, open your browser's Network tab and confirm no file leaves your device.

What about tools that need a server?

Some future operations, like PDF to Word with OCR, require server processing. Those pages will say so clearly before anything is uploaded, and files will be deleted automatically within 1 hour.
